I had a lot of fun putting together a new coordinate, and of course had a lot of fun during the event.
It crosses the language borders between those who are fluent in japanese and those who are not, and there is always someone willing to help out if anyone doesn't understand what the photographers say.
This time I put together a religious coordinate (again) and called it マリア様の落ち葉 ("Lady Maria's Autumn Leaf"). I really enjoy looking at religious themed lolita coordinates, and there have been a lot of releases in the past year that featured bold crosses and veils, accessoires with crosses and even cross-shaped bags. I also got to re-use the rectangle headdress I bought for my trip to Kyoto a few months back, to match a Shiro Lolita coordinate. The idea behind the coordinate was to create a fall-inspired, religious coordinate with a few gold elements; in my case the shoes, accessoires and glitter eye-make up. I did a religious coordinate before, but with way more headpieces and make-up. I personally prefer the simpler look that is trending in Japan.
